SmartPIV is an app that enables you to determine flow velocity within a PIV setup (particle imaging velocimetry). Contrary to other analysis software our app runs on your mobile phone utilizing its phone camera so there is no need for expensive gear to examine a flow in a flow channel.

On top of that SmartPIV allows you to get a real time analysis – just align your phone and start!
Current analysis results are graphically displayed via velocity vectors, allowing for an easy retracing of a current’s development.
